ABOUT

DOUGLAS PEIX, ARCHITECT PLLC

APPROACH

Doug Peix has specialized in residential design for over thirty years. As an Architect, Doug has provided full services to over 500 clients – managing projects from design, construction drawings, bidding and building. He incorporates functional requirements with smart design, while reigning in budgets.

PROJECTS

Doug's work includes new houses, weekend retreats, small cottages – as well as transformation of and additions to existing houses. His pro bono work includes his creating the drawings for the reconstruction of a Victorian lighthouse in the Great Bay.

PRACTICALITIES

At the outset Doug works closely with his clients to establish realistic design goals, schedules and budgets. After many years of experience, he has an excellent record for staying on budget without compromising the design or function of a project.

CONSTRUCTION

Doug has worked with hundreds of contractors and builders. Some of his clients even have been recommended to him by builders. Doug's review during the construction process is particularly important since it helps guarantee the final product is well built and long lasting.

LOYALTY

Doug listens carefully to his clients' needs, as well as their dreams. A significant number of his past clients are repeat customers, some for three or four different projects. His policy of creating an open, creative interchange with client has earned him both gratitude and trust.
